Apprentices
GDGL (Gas & Diesel Generation Ltd) are looking forward to passing on the high standard of knowledge and a work routine to a new generation of engineer.
We have started an apprenticeship scheme backed by recognised NVQ's and after 4 years the apprentices shall receive time served papers proving many areas and standards within apprenticeship. The course that we have singled out for them to go forward on is only at present, ran by 5 universities/colleges in Britain. This course helps maximise the training in the field that we cover.
Additional courses are also available to the apprentices to allow them to extend and back up further areas within the power generation field. Due to the nature of our customers and the high standards not only that they exhibit and require we feel this is an ideal environment for apprentices to excel.
GDGL believe in the efficient use of today's natural resources of fuel, hence our main line of business is Combined, Heat and Power. But also, that the younger generations can learn to maintain and improve the world that we presently work/live in, to sustain changes by understanding many different principles and the effects of them, this is applied in power conversions and generation.
